Primi due appuntamenti nel prossimo fine settimana con la nona edizione della rassegna musicale “Natale in Collegiata” promossa a Mondolfo dalla Parrocchia si S.Giustina, sotto la direzione artistica di Filippo Sorcinelli.
Ad aprire la rassegna nella Collegiata di S.Giustina sabato 8 dicembre alle ore 21 il New Vocal Ensemble, associazione nata a Senigallia con lo scopo di promuovere e diffondere la cultura musicale, con la convinzione che la cultura sia in grado di nobilitare l'uomo, educandolo ai valori etici, morali e dello spirito, nonché ai valori sociali del dialogo e della pacifica convivenza.
Il concerto di sabato sera proporrà musica polifonica in onore della solennità dell’Immacolata e si svilupperà secondo una struttura tripartita: Le origini del canto mariano - con opere risalenti alle origini della polifonia vocale tratte dal Codice Montpellier, dal Laudario di Cortona e dal Llibre Vermell de Montserrat. La polifonia mariana tra medioevo e rinascimento - con musiche tra quattro e cinquecento che rappresentano il momento più interessante per la polifonia vocale di tutti i tempi. In programma mottetti mariani di Binchois, Dufay, Byrd, Quagliati e Monteverdi. La musica mariana contemporanea - con alcuni brani del compositore senigalliese Marco Ferretti nelle cui opere proposte è evidente l'ispirazione alla modalità e al canto gregoriano che idealmente congiunge le sonorità della musica contemporanea alla più austera polifonia arcaica.
Domenica 9 dicembre, dalle ore 17,30, sarà Giulia Biagetti al prezioso organo storico “Gaetano Callido” della Collegiata ad animare la liturgia ed a proporre – a seguire – un vasto repertorio musicale organistico di vera eccezione, con brani che spazieranno in un repertorio italiano ed europeo fra 1600 e 1700. Di Lucca, Giulia Biagetti è organista della Cattedrale e del Coro della Cattedrale, la Cappella “S. Cecilia”, un complesso corale di prestigiosa tradizione, col quale collabora ormai da circa trent’ anni, seguendone gli impegni liturgici e concertistici (sono 17 i CD realizzati dal coro e dedicati in gran parte ad autori lucchesi). In qualità di docente ha insegnato Organo e Canto gregoriano presso il Conservatorio “L. Boccherini” di Lucca, pianoforte ed organo presso la scuola Diocesana di Musica “R. Baralli” e presso il Seminario Arcivescovile Diocesano. E' stata inoltre titolare della cattedra di Organo alla Civica scuola di Musica di Capannori.
Natale in Collegiata proseguirà a Mondolfo poi sino domenica 13 gennaio 2013, con appuntamenti pressoché settimanali.
