Nuovi fondi per il Magnificat di Gerusalemme

FERMO – Una bella iniziativa quella della Delegazione della Metropolia di Fermo dell’Ordine del Santo Sepolcro che, come da missione, ha promosso alcune inizaitive per la raccolta di fondi per l’Istituto “Magnificat” di Gerusalemme.
Fondato dal francescano jesino p. Armando Pierucci, organista e docente, il Magnificat si sostiene grazie alla Custodia francescana e alle oblazioni dei fedeli; vi studiano oltre 200 ragazzi, di ogni etnia e religione.
In collaborazione con l’Accademia Organistica Elpidiense di Sant’Elpidio a Mare e il Rotary Club di Civitanova Marche, è stato ospite nei giorni scorsi della Delegazione il giovane Haig Aram Vosgueritchian (in foto), organista della basilica di Nazareth e docente del Magnificat, che ha tenuto due concerti a Tolentino e a Civitanova Alta, dove sono stati raccolti 1.500 euro grazie ai quali saranno finanziate quattro borse di studio per giovani studenti di Gerusalemme.
“Uno dei tanti piccoli gesti di solidarietà che, messi insieme, consentono condizioni di vita accettabili in Terra Santa” ha commentato il Delegato dell’Ordine Giovanni Martinelli, che ha ricevuto il ringraziamento di p. Pierucci e del Commissario di Terra Santa pe le Marche p. Roberto Mancinelli. Entusiasta dell’ospitalità il bravissimo organista, che ha promesso di tornare l’anno prossimo.
